At sixteen, my daughter started to lose her hair after suffering an anaphylactic reaction. This was an extremely stressful time for the whole family. We found wig suppliers in department stores but the downside was no private fitting rooms no help with aftercare. Other outlets attached to hairdressers, which are very hard to walk into when you are suffering with hair loss and again no aftercare or help.
After researching over the year's hair loss in women mainly the help and support offered and found this to be very poor. Thoughts turned to doing something about it.
The plan? To offer a service for ladies suffering from hair loss within a warm, friendly atmosphere. To offer a large selection of wigs from human hair to the budget range. Style and colour is paramount, therefore we can assure her that if the item was not in stock delivery will be within twenty four/forty eight hours. We also offer many other products to help with wig care. Private facilities are always available.
We understand that this is a very stressful time so we always offer tea and coffee to clients before we start our consultation and like them to bring friends relatives with them for support our consultation takes around one and a half hours as we make sure the wig our client chooses fits and is cut and styled to perfection, we also make sure our client knows all the aftercare needed during the wear and offer a full back up service should any problems arise.
We have been very successful over the years and are recommended from all NHS hospitals in our area along with many private hospitals from different areas for ladies being treated with chemotherapy or ladies suffering from alopecia. We also are being recommended by the patients themselves and have received numerous thank you letters.
